Welcome to my online home and portfolio, showcasing my digital art illustrations, cartoons, doodles and sketches, as well as the odd rambling thought, or an attempt at a poetic ditty. I work predominately with Corel Painter software and a Wacom pen and tablet. All work is started from scratch, usually directly onto the computer first, or initially sketched and then scanned in and coloured. Common themes in my work include myths & legends, fantasy and the whimsical. When I'm not glued to my computer and Wacom pen I also enjoy reading, films, dog walking, gardening and fishing.

I started this Wiki web site in the hope that I could also eventually gather togeather my family and friends on the net. In the future I aim to get a discussion board going, a place for us to upload our family mementos and photographs, and basically just keep in touch. My family and friends also wanted a place where they could view my art and comment on it (or criticise - I can take it on the chin guys!) I wanted an online homestead, a place which is special to me and my family, where I can share my dreams with them and involve them in it. I aim to attempt this despite the fact that Im going to have to drag my family kicking and screaming into this more technological advanced communications era :) I also am technically deficient in the use of the web, nevertheless I, and hopefully they, will persevere.

Because it is a social wiki site, created for family and close friends, and may contain pictures, photographs, text, historical data and correspondence of a private nature, site membership and access to the discussion board and edit features will be by invitation only. The site is still under construction and is very much a learning experience for me. However, I still welcome and invite all to browse my art work in my portfolio and view my poems.
